Quality Control - Warehouse

Cuyana is looking for a Quality Control Lead for our West Oakland Fulfillment Center. This position will play an integral part of the e-commerce fulfillment experience for Cuyana.

The QC Lead will verify the condition and quality of all incoming, on hand and outgoing inventory within the fulfillment center. This will include the durability, appearance, and construct of all apparel and accessories.

This is a full-time, hourly position, Monday through Friday. Days/Hours of operations may fluctuate based on seasonal volume and operational needs.

Responsibilities*:

  • Work with inventory control and production teams on verifying incoming and on hand inventory’s quality
  • Review, transfer, document and report quality issues found
  • Measure and scale product dimensions and related accessories. Communicate and update inventory specs within our system (NetSuite)
  • Create/maintain a SOP and visual guide for process and quality checks
  • Lead small projects/teams on verifying QC issues at request from various stakeholders
  • Provide feedback/training with related processes, able to coach other personnel in a positive and encouraging manner
  • Troubleshoot/catalog inventory issues, communicate with stakeholders on next-steps and plans of action
  • Notifying and documenting any process issues found during the QC process
  • Assist in various areas of fulfillment operations as needed: inbound, outbound, inventory and select projects

Requirements:

  • 1-3+ years of monitoring/overseeing a department, personnel and/or process
  • Familiarity within a fulfillment center and hands on production environment
  • High attention to detail – fashion and apparel experience a plus
  • Meet company and departmental standards: Customer Requirements, Compliance, Safety, Efficiency, Quality, and Attendance
  • Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned work
  • Friendly and positive attitude, able to work with a diverse team daily
  • MS Office and Google Suites – Advanced Excel skills are a plus
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
  • Give back as part of the Cuyana Community (help teammates during peak season, volunteer, events)
  • Must follow COVID-19 safety protocols while in a Cuyana location (even if fully vaccinated)
