Where we need help

Supply chain operations and logistics is a highly dynamic team supporting Allbirds’ rapid expansion to 4 major continents. In the Logistics and Fulfillment Manager Role, you will support day to day operations and reporting for our multi-tier distribution channel across domestic and international markets. You will have the opportunity to develop key analytical, project management and logistics skills needed within a fast-growing business. You will build relationships with our managed vendors and drive them to achieve key business objectives. You will also develop and manage key reports and dashboards to manage global operational costs, KPIs and performance.

What does the job entail?

  • On-site management in our U.S. Logistics warehouses with the responsibility for ensuring operational execution across both the United States and Canada.  
  • Ensure 3PL Provider is executing against daily SLAs (inbound, outbound, returns, sendbacks) with attention to detail through tracking, reporting and dashboards
  • Provide effective and compelling daily, weekly, and monthly analysis of KPI data to underpin all aspects of DC performance including root cause identification and corrective actions
  • Recommend opportunities to drive continuous improvement by developing the tools, processes and capabilities across all DC functions
  • Monitor and report out performance and cost trending including invoice management.
  • Prepare our warehouse partner(s) with critical information such as volume forecasts, marketing initiatives and key launch dates to ensure high impact events are executed flawlessly
  • Track inventory levels of Allbirds packaging within the warehouse network. Place orders as needed with international and domestic vendors for additional supplies and track order costs.  
  • Monitor internal and external communication channels to ensure immediate, proactive support to our fulfillment centers, retail, and internal stakeholders.
  • Establish and grow relationships with key internal and external partners to become the subject matter expert on day to day and strategic operations. 
  • Review and improve upon existing internal Standard Operating Procedure documentation for 3PL’s, and regularly review with key stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Support senior supply chain leaders with key strategic projects. Recognize and communicate opportunities to drive continuous improvement and assist in developing the tools, processes and capabilities across all functions to resolve.

More practical skills needed:

  • 5-7+ years working experience in supply chain or operations preferred
  • BA/BS or alternative equivalent
  • Strong proficiency using MS Excel and Google Sheets
  • Experience in project management software such as Asana preferred
  • You are very well organized and are a master of communication. This includes both proper email etiquette as well prompt responsiveness to requests. 
  • An owner’s mindset that drives you to consistently deliver on assigned, verbal, and written commitments.
